The Fotohunt started within the Fotolog offices as something fun we all did together before Adam Seifer, Fotolog's co-founder, decided to share it with the world.
For over a year, Fotohunts were run every business day (and even some holidays!) with topics ranging from City to Country, from the clouds in the sky to the flowers on the ground. The Fotohunt allowed members to show off their best work and the entries into each 'hunt were some of the finest examples of photography to be found on the site. While the Fotohunt was a great part of Fotolog and worth missing, losing the Fotohunt is just another step in the Fotolog journey and one sure to bring lots of 'great parts' yet to come.

El Fotohunt comenzó en las oficinas de Fotolog como algo divertido que todos haciamos juntos, antes que Adam Seifer, el co-fundador de Fotolog, decidiera compartirlo con el mundo.
Por más de un año, los Fotohunts eran puestos todos los días útiles (y algunas veces también en feriados festivos!) con temas desde Ciudad hasta País, desde nubes en el cielo hasta flores en la tierra. El Fotohunt permitió a los miembros mostrar su mejor trabajo y las fotos puestas en cada Fotohunt fueron la más fina muestra y ejemplos de fotografía que se encontraban en la página. Mientras el Fotohunt formó gran parte de Fotolog valdrá la pena extrañarlo, perder el Fotohunt es sólo un paso mas en la jornada de Fotolog y uno que seguro traerá muchas "mejores cosas" aún por venir.

O Fotohunt começou no escritório do Fotolog como uma brincadeira divertida que fazíamos entre nós antes do Adam Seifer, co-fundador do Fotolog, decidir dividí-lo com o mundo.
Por mais de uma ano Fotohunts foram fetios quase todos os dias (e também em alguns feriados!) com tópicos variados de cidades a países, de nuvens no céu a flores no chão. O Fotohunt fez com que usuários mostrassem suas melhores fotos e muitas dessas fotos foram uns dos melhores exemplos de fotografias encontradas no site. Apesar do Fotohunt ter sido uma grande parte do Fotolog e de que sentiremos sua falta, perdê-lo é apenas mais um passo na jornada do Fotolog e um passo que com certeza trará muitas "coisas melhores", ainda por vir.

Die Fotohunt-Idee wurde zunäcchst Monate lang im Fotolog-Büro getestet, bevor Fotolog's Mitgründer Adam Seifer beschloss, die ganze Welt dran teilhaben zu lassen.
Über mehr als ein Jahr hinweg wurden an jedem Werktag und auch an so manchen Feiertag Fotohunts abgehalten zu solch unterschiedlichen Themen wie Stadt und Land bis hin zu Wolken im Himmel oder Blumen am Wegesrand. Mit Hilfe der Fotohunt-Wettbewerbe konnten Mitglieder ihre besten Fotos zeigen und während so mancher Fotojadgd großartige Fotokunst aufspüren. Die Fotohunts werden sicherlich vermisst werden, doch ist die Aufgabe der Fotowettbewerbe nur ein weiterer Teil der Fotolog-Reise auf der es noch so manche großartige Neuerungen zu entdecken geben wird.
